 As part of Action for Race Equality's  drive, they're proud to actively spotlight individuals, initiatives and campaigns that share their mission to advance race equity in the UK including Mwanzo Project. 

International Women’s Day is a moment to call for action and change on gender inequality, but also a moment to celebrate the incredible contributions of women who are making a difference. Avon and Somerset's  Police and Crime Commissioner, highlights a few extraordinary women who inspire me including Mwanzo Project Founder. 

Everyone Active partnered with Mwanzo Project and Learning Partnership West earlier this year to reduce youth crime rates in the city – offering free memberships to young people considered ‘at risk’ of engaging in antisocial behaviour.

Revolving Doors were commissioned by the Youth Justice Board (YJB) to produce a review of good and promising local practice that is tackling ethnic disparity and over-representation in youth justice across England and Wales.
